For our international team at Baar, Switzerland we are currently seeking an SAP Production Specialist (m/f/d). 

In this role, you will work closely with our international SAP and production teams to support and develop planning and production processes – with a focus on SAP PP and PP/DS (Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling).

You will help support the digital backbone of our production landscape across various sites, ensuring process stability, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to the optimization of our planning systems. The position reports directly to the Head of Group IT/SAP, offering you direct exposure to strategic topics and the opportunity to shape key IT/production interfaces.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with solid SAP PP knowledge and a motivation to grow into a specialized PP/DS role within an international industrial company.

Key Responsibilities:

Support & Process Development

  • Support daily operations and issue resolution in the SAP production planning environment (PP, PP/DS)
  • Collaborate with key users from production, planning, and supply chain teams across multiple countries
  • Participate in rollouts and enhancement projects related to SAP PP and PP/DS
  • Analyze, document, and continuously improve production planning processes in SAP
  • Assist in PP/DS configuration and test cycles (you will be trained and guided as needed)
  • Manage support tickets and provide 2nd-level process/system support
  • Coordinate with internal SAP experts and external consultants

Growth & Learning

  • Participate in internal SAP training sessions and hands-on project work to build up PP/DS knowledge
  • Develop a deep understanding of integrated production planning in S/4HANA
  • Take on more responsibility over time and become a key contact for digital production planning topics

Your profile:

  • You have 3–5 years of experience in production planning or operations, ideally in a discrete manufacturing context
  • You have worked with SAP ERP or equivalent systems, especially in production processes (e.g., order planning, confirmations, BOMs, routings)
  • You already have solid SAP PP knowledge, and are either experienced in or highly motivated to develop in SAP PP/DS
  • You work independently, think in processes, and are comfortable operating in a cross-functional and international environment
  • You have strong communication skills, are structured and pragmatic, and bring a problem-solving mindset
  • You are fluent in English and Czech; German is a plus
