Summary

In order to further expand our "Aftermarket" division, we are looking to fill the position of "Aftermarket Account Manager Hydraulic Filtration" as soon as possible. In this versatile role, you will be part of the Aftermarket (AM) Team and work closely with its customer service team, product engineers, cross-functional team members and other company departments to increase revenue and meet profitability targets. You will play a crucial role in developing and -fostering relationships with aftermarket customers. Your primary focus will be on increasing the sales of aftermarket hydraulic filtration products while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, addressing customer needs, and providing exceptional support to maintain long-term partnerships.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and nurture strong business relationships with existing aftermarket customers in the hydraulic filtration sector across Europe.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the aftermarket hydraulic filtration sector in Central-Western Europe or Southern Europe or Northern Europe or Eastern Europe
  • Serve as the main contact for customers, promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any issues,
  • Create and implement strategic account plans to maximize sales growth and market share.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts.
  • Define sales targets for the assigned aftermarket customers, develop joint roadmaps and track progress.
  • Develop and manage sales and profit budgets for a defined customer base.
  • Prepare regular reports for tracking activities, sales and forecast development.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of customer requirements to support the further development of the AM strategy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities within the hydraulic filtration aftermarket sector. Conduct regular market analyses to identify potential opportunities and challenges in the European market.
  • Provide guidance and training to key aftermarket customers on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market insights to ensure they meet their targets.
  • Identify and participate in industry events, trade shows and conferences to showcase products and build brand presence in the assigned region.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, sales, marketing, business engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales within the hydraulic filtration business or a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulic filters, their applications and the aftermarket landscape.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving sales targets in the hydraulic filtration sector.
  • Strong, communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits, trade shows and industry events.
  • Fluency in English and in the local languages, depending on the region.
