Summary

In order to further expand our "Aftermarket" division, we are looking to fill the position of "Aftermarket Account Manager for Stationary Hydraulic Filtration" as soon as possible. In this versatile role, you will be part of the Aftermarket (AM) Team and work closely with its customer service team, product engineers, cross-functional team members and other company departments to increase revenue and meet profitability targets.
You will drive sales and business growth of spare parts within the hydraulic filtration market for stationary applications. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing sales strategies, managing accounts and building strong customer relationships.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate the hydraulic filter aftermarket for stationary applications effectively.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitor activities to identify opportunities and create action plans. Identify potential customers, conduct market research and initiate outreach campaigns to generate leads.
  • Define sales targets for key aftermarket customers, develop joint roadmaps and track progress.
  • Cultivate relationships with key aftermarket customers.
  • Collaborate with existing accounts to identify new business opportunities and increase customer loyalty.
  • Negotiate and finalize sales agreements to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the hydraulic filter aftermarket for stationary applications to expand the customer base.
  • Provide guidance and training to the sales team of key aftermarket customers on product knowledge, sales techniques and market insights to ensure they meet their targets.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and address customer inquiries, concerns and complaints promptly.
  • Collaborate with marketing specialists to create promotional materials, campaigns, and product launch strategies.
  • Identify and participate in industry events, trade shows and conferences to showcase products and build brand presence.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer feedback and market demands to recommend improvements and innovations related to products and business models.
  • Develop and manage sales and profit budgets for a defined customer base.
  • Prepare regular reports for tracking activities, sales and forecast development.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, sales, marketing, business engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales within the hydraulic filtration business or a related industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of hydraulic filters, their industrial applications, and the aftermarket landscape.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Fluency in English and additional European languages may be advantageous.
